Chapter 8 - How To Tackle FODMAP Diet Overwhelm

IBS is a lonely condition, and you might feel like no one truly understands. Luckily, there are ways to get support, learn from others, and make progress much faster than you would alone. Find your support community here!

My goal in creating this guide was to give you everything you need to get started with FODMAP, without feeling overwhelmed.

That being said, it’s okay if your head is spinning just a little right now.

Tell me if you can relate to the following...

  • You’re excited to get relief from your symptoms, but you wish the FODMAP Diet had an “Easy Button”

  • You’re not sure exactly where to begin and wish you could just follow a step-by-step plan

  • You stress over travel (which should be fun) or long car rides where bathroom access is limited

  • You feel alone because friends don’t seem to understand (or even get annoyed by your food restrictions)

  • You feel anxious about social gatherings because you only feel safe eating at home

If you can relate, then you already know how overwhelming it is to deal with IBS without reliable information or support.

That’s why I created Calm Belly Club.

Calm Belly Club is the online community and support network for FODMAPers and people with IBS.

It’s a monthly membership community where you get everything you need to tackle the FODMAP Diet and get relief from your symptoms as quickly as possible.

What Our Members Are Saying…

The resources within the CBC has made it possible for me to stick to the low-FODMAP diet, and it’s helped me make sense of ALL the things along the way. I’ve loved the online trainings with Julie and the courses (“Free to Eat” saved me during the reintroduction phase), plus all of the resources Julie and Joan release are top-notch.
— Dana Parker
When my gastroenterologist advised me to try a low FODMAP diet, I had no idea where to begin. Julie’s webinars, the information on the site and the support of other members helped me complete the elimination and challenge phases of the low FODMAP diet and I feel confident that I will be able to control my IBS symptoms much better in the future.
— Susan Fox
I joined the Calm Belly Club and it’s been the brightest light at the end of the IBS tunnel one could ever ask for. I’m so thankful for finding this club and wish I could express the delight I have from finding clear and precise ways to eat well for every meal and snack and every stage of this new way of eating that really does make living with colon issues ok.
— Shawnda Nilson

Imagine if you could learn from the experiences and stories of people who’ve been in your shoes and share your goals. That’s what inspired me to create this community.

Calm Belly Club is packed with every resource I’ve ever created including my comprehensive, proven programs to guide you through the three phases of the FODMAP Diet…

…plus the support to help you achieve the calm belly you want and the peace of mind you need.
