You've finally discovered the low-FODMAP diet. You think it could be the answer you've been looking for.

Break out your happy dance, jazz hands, electric slide...whatever you're into! Some brilliant scientists have actually discovered how to manage IBS, and they've proven that it really works.

But then you realize...this stuff is complicated.

Figuring out which foods are high in FODMAPs isn't logical or intuitive.

It turns out a ton of nutritious foods are packed with FODMAPs (yup, it's possible that healthy, delicious asparagus was your undoing, and you didn't even know it). To see if this diet can improve your quality of life, you're supposed to stop eating fiber-filled whole grain breads, luscious fresh peaches and calcium-packed ricotta.

Before I learned about FODMAPs, I spent over 12 years dealing with IBS symptoms that included constipation, bloating and feeling sorry for myself. When I did the FODMAP diet and figured out my personal food intolerances, I felt like I had some control over my belly for the first time ever. I finally knew what to avoid so I wasn't bloated all the time. I could choose my outfits based on what I actually wanted to wear, not on how puffy my stomach was. Amazing.

My Background

As a freelance food writer and recipe developer for magazines including Shape, Clean Eating and Prevention, I spent 9 years writing about nutrition and creating delicious, healthy meals. Now I'm using my knowledge to help you get through the FODMAP diet as quickly and painlessly as possible. 

In my career as a food writer, I've helped thousands of women clean up their diets through the nutrition articles, recipes and books I've worked on over the years. After experiencing the joy of gaining some control over my own IBS symptoms, I'm thrilled to help other women do it too with my 1-on-1 AND group coaching services. 

Here's the thing:

I was so excited when my doctor told me about the FODMAP Diet, and then I was completely and utterly overwhelmed. He gave me a 4-page handout and sent me on my way. When I searched online, I found very little reliable information or recipes. It seemed so hard, and I felt so alone, that I spent 6 months just thinking about doing the FODMAP diet before I actually did it. I started my coaching practice to keep you from wasting time like I did.
